1,000 Push Ups in a Day

So you’re in a funk?

Feels like your batteries drained out, and your once-charged-up motivation now has the energy of a wet noodle?

(Yes, I just compared you to noodles).

You know you can do so much more, but you're just...stuck.

How about we shake things up?

Enter the insane, "WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO YOURSELF, JAY?!" challenge:

Doing 1,000 push-ups in one day. Yep, you read that right.

"But Jay, whyyyy?" I can already hear you moaning.

Bear with me…

But Why 1,000 Push-Ups Though?

Ever forget what you’re made of?

That you’re essentially a badass with limitless potential?

Sometimes, you gotta dive deep into the crazy to rediscover it.

Remember, we aren’t doing 1,000 push-ups because it's easy.

We're doing it because it's hard!

I'm Gonna Hurt Everywhere, Aren't I?

Oh, hell yes.

Your arms? Jelly.

Your chest? It will feel like it's been through a blender.

And your mind? It'll scream, "WHAT THE HECK ARE WE DOING?!" for a good chunk of the day.

Wanting to Quit

You WILL want to give up.

Probably around push-up 132...and again at 487...and definitely around 812.

But that's when you remind yourself that every push-up is one step away from getting out of this “funk.:

Ending the Day a NEW Person

Okay, let’s be real: If you manage to pull this off, you won’t just have bragging rights.

(although, go ahead and brag).

You’ll feel transformed!

You start the day one person and end it as a complete BEAST.

"So Jay, what’s the real point behind this challenge?"

It’s about proving to yourself that when you're down in the dumps, you have the power to climb out, and not just climb out, but LEAP OUT.

1,000 push-ups in a day isn’t just about the push-ups.

It's about the journey, the grit, the grind, and the sweet feeling of achievement at the end.

Do it, snap out of the funk, and remember your worth. 

P.S. If you actually try this, please don’t hate me if you can't open a door the next day. Do stretch, hydrate, and listen to your body.

Green Lights

Just picked up Matthew McConaughey's new book "Greenlights" on Audible, and it’s a treasure trove of wisdom nuggets fit to fuel any brain.

There’s this one quote that’s been dancing in my head this week:

"Every red and amber light eventually turns green if you're patient."

Let’s break this down…

The “Red Lights” in Life

Ever been on the verge of something amazing, only to hear the dreaded word "NO"?

It's like driving at full speed and then - BOOM - a red light.

In life, just like in traffic, red lights are temporary.

They might slow you down, but they can’t stop you forever.

Amber Lights - “The Teasers”

Now, the amber light. That's the trickster.

It's like the universe is telling you, "Hold on, buddy. Not yet...but soon!"

It's uncertainty. It’s the “maybes”, the “we’ll see”, and the “let’s talk later”.

But what do amber lights eventually do?

You guessed it – they turn GREEN.

Green Means GO!

Remember, every NO is just a pause. It's a delay, not a denial.

If you're persistent, patient, and hang in there a little longer those lights?

They're bound to turn green. That's your moment to accelerate.

Success isn't a straightforward path.

It's messy. It's winding. There are TONS of traffic lights.

But think of every challenge, every " no, " and every doubt as a traffic light.

It’s there to test your patience, persistence, and passion.

McConaughey’s got it right. In the grander scheme of things, these lights are just a blip in your journey.

They're preparing, strengthening, and reminding you that the green light is worth the wait.


Have Fun In Your Business

Business. It’s a serious affair, right?

Spreadsheets, meetings, numbers… But what if I told you there's a sneaky secret to juicing up your business growth?

One word: FUN.

Trust me on this….

Business Ain't All Business

Running a business and focusing only on the nitty-gritty is like making a sandwich with bread.

Where's the meat? The cheese? The spicy mustard?!

You need to allocate some fun time in your week.

Not just for the giggles but for REAL, tangible results.

Ever notice when you're relaxed and having fun, ideas... pop?

It’s not magic. It's SCIENCE.

Fun releases dopamine in the brain. That's the "feel good" hormone.

👉  1,000 Push Ups In A Day: It might sound bonkers at first but it could be the very thing that will get you back into the swing of success and achievement.

👉 Green Lights: Look at every “No” and every door close as the thing it truly is, A Red light that, if you’re patient and persistent, will move to amber and then green.

👉 Having Fun in your Business: Consider that you’re not where you want to be right now because you’ve turned off your fun button. Take a day off, ride some rollercoasters, hang out with people that make you belly laugh and enjoy yourself. This right here might switch back on your creative side and fix some of the problems you’re facing.
